College fan bases and teams aren’t the only ones getting excited about the brackets this week. Now that the fields are set, most of the high school-hardwood buzz is focused on the 2022 GEICO National.
Eight boys ‘and five girls’ teams will compete in a bracket-style tournament starting March 31 at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena (Fort Myers, Fla.). And as expected, there is talent for tip-off in both cases, which captures the lasting difference that the tournament has shown since its inception in 2009.
