Iamaleava has just begun to improve and her ascent is as high as anyone in the ’23 class. He has an athletic 6-5 frame and is not only a talented quarterback but also a talented volleyball player. He has made tremendous progress in the last one year in terms of his sense of pocket, ability to throw on time and expectations. He always had a big hand but now he can change speed, go through progress and make it easy to throw the perfect touch down the field. He has exceptional escape abilities and is just as dangerous outside of his pocket as he is throwing into it. During flush or designed running dramas he always threatens to take off and run for the big yard. He’s also a tough kid that stands up and takes shots and when he runs in the open field, he looks like a receiver bigger than a signal caller. He is at a high competitive level and a great leader outside the field work policy. He has no worries about zero character and he is a future captain who is attracted to other players. There’s not a single throw on the field that he can’t make, he feels comfortable throwing off the platform or being creative and combined with his rapidly improving football IQ and perseverance, he has the opportunity to be a very special player at the next level and beyond.
