Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has said he wants to win the Champions League for the third time in his career.
Mourinho’s second game in charge of the Spurs is a group game against Olympiacos, where one point will send them to the knockout stage for the third year in a row.
The Portuguese have previously won competitions with FC Porto and Inter Milan.
“I love competition like everyone else in football.
“It’s something that everyone dreams of winning.
“Not everyone has a chance to win the Champions League, which I am happy to do twice.
“Do I want to win for the third time? Of course, I would love to have it but I know its disadvantages.
“But with these guys, I will never be afraid of a Champions League match.
“I say again, we have to qualify, that’s the focus. I always say that.
“We have to qualify, but, as I said, give me time to work, give me time to share my ideas with these guys, and I will have no problem going to any stadium to face any of the biggest opponents in Europe. Or in England.
“We are not afraid of anyone,” Mourinho told a news conference on Monday.
