The fourth tournament of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series ended with two exciting matches at the Al Habto Polo Resort and Club Ground.
Juan Zoureche and Pablo Urquiza exchanged goals at the start of the subsidiary final, and Hesketh and AM – Ankora ended the first half with two goals each for the polo team. Half-goal advantage put AM-Ankora ahead late in the second half but Thomas Palacios put Buck Hesketh ahead of his competition as he closed the fourth-half with three goals from the penalty spot. The goal difference was enough for Hesketh Polo to ensure a 4-5 victory with 7 goals.

Lucas Montverde Jr. took the lead early on for the UAE polo team and created a significant goal advantage at halftime. Rashid Al Abbar put Bangash Polo on the scoreboard and Federico Von Potobski closed the gap on the last goal. The last blow was a push for the win as Bangash was apparently in line for the trophy as its sponsor, Haider Bangash defended a low penalty shot from Potobski. However, Lukin snatched the UAE Polo victory with a goal from the range and the game ended at 7.5 to 7.

Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtur, vice chairman and CEO of Al Habtur Group, and Martin Pedersen, chairman of the International Free Zone Authority, presented the awards to the teams of the day. Lucas Monteverde Jr. was the most valuable player and Nocherita, owned by Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who learned to be the best playing pony.
